Two brands, one company. Nutricopia since 1976 and Nutrition Ink since 1981, based in Banning, California, serving facilities across the state.

Nutrition Ink, Inc. is a private dietetic consulting company based in Banning, California. It operates two brands that facilities across the state have known for decades: Nutricopia, which has provided nutrition consulting, innovative menus and manuals to healthcare communities since 1976, and Nutrition Ink, founded in 1981 by Merijane McTalley, RDN, FAND, which provides consulting dietitians, menus, manuals and training, and runs the Nutrition Ink Dietetic Internship Program.

The two companies have now merged into one, so clients get one team, one set of tools and one point of contact, while each brand keeps the name and the products facilities already know. Our consultants work throughout California, with occasional assignments across the state line.

Leadership

  • Merijane McTalley, RDN, FAND

    Founder & President Emeritus

    Merijane founded Nutrition Ink in 1981 and led it for four decades. A graduate of Cal Poly Pomona, she has been a registered dietitian for more than thirty years and has been recognized many times for her work in the field.

  • Matt Malouin, MS, RD

    Chief Executive Officer; Director, Nutrition Ink Dietetic Internship Program

    Matt earned his BS in Nutrition and Food Science from Cal State San Bernardino and his MS in Nutrition and Dietetics from Loma Linda University. He leads the company and directs the internship program.

    A graduate of UC Santa Barbara and Cal State Northridge, Elissa has been part of the team since 2004 and is the voice you hear when you call the office.
