Nutrition Ink is a private consulting firm founded in 1981 by Merijane McTalley, RDN, FAND. Since then it has provided registered dietitians and nutrition management products and services to acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, psychiatric facilities, group homes, residential and assisted living facilities, Head Start programs, correctional facilities and more, throughout California.

What Nutrition Ink offers
Consulting dietitians
An RDN to manage your nutrition program on site, relief coverage when yours is away, or corporate oversight of the whole department.
Menus with recipes and ordering guides
Pre-planned therapeutic cycle menus written for your facility type, with recipes, HACCP instructions and nutritional analysis.
Training and manuals
Policy and procedure manuals, diet manuals, survey toolkits and the clinical notebook that keeps the dietitian and the dietary manager on the same page.

The internship
The Nutrition Ink Dietetic Internship Program (NIDIP) is our ACEND-accredited dietetic internship, a distance program with a concentration in medical nutrition therapy for nutrition support. Interns from the program have written for our blog, the Nutrition Inkwell, for years. Learn about NIDIP.
